Age Limit

• Deputy Manager (Economist): 30 Years (as on 01-08-2025)
• Assistant General Manager (Product & Research - Forex & Rupee Derivatives): Minimum 35 years & Maximum 45 years (as on 01-10-2025)
• Manager (Product & Research - Forex & Rupee Derivatives): Minimum 24 years & Maximum 36 years (as on 01-10-2025)
• Manager (Research Analyst): Minimum 24 years & Maximum 36 years (as on 01-10-2025)

Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.

Educational Qualifications

• Deputy Manager (Economist): A Master’s degree in Economics / Econometrics / Mathematical Economics / Financial Economics, with a minimum of 60% marks or an equivalent grade from a recognized university/institute of repute. Higher qualifications such as a PhD in Economics / Banking / Finance / Statistics / Mathematics will be preferred.
• Assistant General Manager (Product & Research - Forex & Rupee Derivatives): MBA (Finance) or PGDBM (Finance) or PGDM (Finance) or an equivalent degree in Finance from a recognized institute. Dual specialization with Finance as one of the subjects will be considered eligible.
• Manager (Product & Research - Forex & Rupee Derivatives): MBA (Finance) or PGDBM (Finance) or PGDM (Finance) or an equivalent degree in Finance from a recognized institute. Dual specialization with Finance as one of the subjects will be considered eligible.
• Manager (Research Analyst): MBA (Finance) or PGDBM (Finance) or PGDM (Finance) or an equivalent degree in Finance from a recognized institute. Dual specialization with Finance as one of the subjects will be considered eligible.

Application Fees

• For General/EWS/OBC candidates: Rs. 750/-
• For SC/ST/PwBD candidates: NIL

The application fee must be paid through the payment gateway integrated with the application after ensuring the correctness of the particulars in the application form. No changes or edits will be allowed in the application thereafter. Application fees once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances, nor can they be adjusted for any other examination or selection in the future.

Selection Process

• Shortlisting: Merely fulfilling minimum qualifications and experience does not guarantee an interview. A shortlisting committee will determine the parameters, and an adequate number of candidates will be shortlisted for the interview. The Bank's decision regarding shortlisting will be final, and no correspondence will be entertained. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview.
• Interview: The interview will carry 100 marks. The qualifying marks for the interview will be decided by the Bank, and no correspondence will be entertained.
• Merit List: The merit list for selection will be prepared in descending order based solely on the scores obtained in the interview. If more than one candidate scores the cut-off marks, their ranks will be determined by their age in descending order.

How to Apply

• The registration process is complete only after the fee is deposited with the Bank through online mode on or before the last date for fee payment/online registrations.
• Before applying, candidates must ensure they meet the eligibility criteria for the advertised Post(s) as of the eligibility date.
• Candidates are required to upload all necessary documents (resume, ID proof, age proof, PwBD Certificate (if applicable), educational qualifications, certifications, experience, Biodata, etc.). Failure to upload these documents will result in the application/candidature not being considered for shortlisting/interview.
• The shortlisting process will be provisional and without verification of original documents. Candidature will be subject to the verification of all details/documents with the originals when a candidate reports for the interview (if called).
• Candidates must register online via the link provided on the SBI website: https://sbi.bank.in/web/careers/current-openings and pay the application fee using Internet Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card, etc.
• Candidates should first scan their latest photograph and signature. The online application will not be registered unless the candidate uploads their photo and signature as specified on the online registration page (under ‘How to Upload Documents’).
• After online registration, candidates are advised to take a printout of the system-generated online application form.
• Candidates seeking age relaxation must submit copies of the necessary certificates at the time of joining. No change in the category of any candidate is permitted after the registration of the online application.
