Age Details

• General/EWS: 14 to 26 years
• OBC: 14 to 29 years
• SC/ST: 14 to 31 years
• HR Trainees: up to 26 years (as on 01 December 2025).

Educational Qualifications

• Trade Apprentice (Ex-ITI): Passed All India Trade Test (AITT) for Craftsmen Training Scheme and possesses a National Trade Certificate (NTC) issued by NCVT, Govt. of India in the respective feeder trade.
• Trade Apprentice (Fresher): Passed Class 10th standard / Madhyamik or equivalent examination from a recognized Central / State Board.
• Graduate Apprentice: Degree in Engineering or Technology from a Statutory University or an institution empowered to grant such degree by an Act of Parliament in the respective subject fields.
• Technician Apprentice: Diploma in Engineering granted by a State Council or Board of Technical Education established by a State Government or by a University in the respective subject fields.
• HR Trainees: Full-time Graduate and 2 years full-time First Class or 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/OBC/PH) in MBA / PG Degree / PG Diploma or equivalent in Human Resource Management / Human Resource Development / Personnel Management / Industrial Relations / Social Work / Labour Welfare.

Age Limit

As on 01 December 2025, minimum age 14 years; category-wise maximum ages: General/EWS 20-26, OBC 23-29, SC/ST 25-31. Maximum age for HR Trainees: 26 years. Age relaxation as per government rules applies for reserved categories.
