Age

Age limits will be as per UGC/AICTE/NCTE and Government norms in force on the closing date of the online application. Specific post-wise age limits are provided in the detailed advertisement.

Educational Qualifications by Post

• Professor (various disciplines): Ph.D. in the concerned/allied discipline, minimum 10 years of teaching/research experience, and a strong research track record as per UGC norms.
• Associate Professor (various disciplines): Ph.D. in the concerned discipline, Master’s degree with at least 55%, and minimum 8 years of teaching/research experience with requisite publications and research score.
• Assistant Professor (various disciplines): Master’s degree with 55% marks and NET/SLET/SET qualification or Ph.D. exemption as per UGC regulations.
• Librarian: Master’s in Library Science/Information Science with at least 55%, 10 years’ experience, and Ph.D. in related fields.
• Assistant Librarian: Master’s in Library/Information/Documentation Science with at least 55% and NET or Ph.D. exemption per UGC norms.
• Assistant Director of Physical Education & Sports (Women only): Master’s in Physical Education/Sports Science with 55%, record of representation in inter-university/ state/national events, and NET or Ph.D.-based exemption; alternative qualification includes a medal-winning background with higher qualifications.

Additional Instructions

• Online applications must be followed by sending a hard copy with self-attested documents to the Deputy Registrar (Recruitment & Promotion Cell) at the specified AUD Kashmere Gate address, reaching by 16 January 2026 (17:30 hrs).
• Applicants applying for multiple disciplines/posts must submit separate applications and fees as applicable.
• Hard copies must be properly indexed and paginated in the order of eligibility criteria.
