Age Limit

• Maximum age: 40 years as on 19-12-2025. Age relaxation as per Government of India guidelines for SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen.

Educational Qualification

• B.E. / B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering or Electrical Engineering from a recognized university/institute with a minimum of 50% marks.

Experience

• Minimum 7 years of post-qualification experience in Optical Fibre Cable (OFC) project execution and network management.
• At least 4 years of hands-on experience in Operations & Maintenance (O&M) of Fiber Optic Networks.

Skills & Other Requirements

• Preventive and corrective maintenance; planning of OFC networks including OTDR-based fault diagnostics and fusion splicing.
• Strong understanding of fibre optic transmission, signal propagation, and cable management practices.
• Experience in SLA/KPI monitoring, fault resolution, and performance optimization of telecom networks.
• Desirable: GIS, ABD, RFMS, Network Management Systems (NMS); OTDR, Power Meters, Fusion Splicers, VFL; MS Office and network monitoring/reporting tools.
• General: All qualifications must be from a recognized university/institution approved by AICTE/UGC/GoI; full-time regular courses only.
• Experience counting and eligibility verification as per RVNL guidelines.

General Instructions

• Engagement is purely on a contractual basis for an initial period of one year, extendable up to three years based on project requirements and performance.
• Selected candidates must execute a Service Bond equivalent to two months’ consolidated remuneration to serve RVNL for at least one year.
