Age Limits

• Minimum age: 21 years
• Maximum age: 42 years

Age Relaxations

• SC/ST: 5 years
• OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
• PWD: 10 years
• Ex-Servicemen: As per government guidelines (maximum relaxation 3 years)
• Freedom Fighter Dependents: 5 years
• Special Provision: Chief Justice may allow up to 5 years relaxation in suitable cases (maximum 3 attempts)

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a university established by law in India or an equivalent qualification recognized as such.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in English Shorthand and English Typing with a minimum speed of 40 words per minute (12000 key-depressions per hour) in English typing and 100 words per minute in English Shorthand dictation.

Desirable

• If final marks are tied, preference to candidates with knowledge of Hindi shorthand and typewriting with minimum speeds of 9000 key-depressions per hour (Hindi typing) and 80 words per minute in Hindi Shorthand dictation, plus computer operation knowledge.

Registration

• Candidates must be registered with the Employment Exchange in Uttarakhand (as applicable).

• Act: Uttarakhand Competitive Examinations Act 2023 will be followed; malpractice action as per the Act

5. Upload educational details (H.S.C., Inter, Graduation, etc.)
6. Upload Photo and Signature as per specifications
7. Review and edit if needed
8. Accept declaration and submit
9. Make online payment of the application fee
10. Print the application form for future reference

Important Note: The application process is complete only after the fee payment. Mobile numbers and email IDs cannot be edited after registration.
