TNSCB Assistant Recruitment 2025 - Apply Online for 50 Posts

Age Limit (as on 01.07.2025)

• For most categories: minimum 18 years; maximum 32 years with relaxations available for certain categories.
• PwBD: up to 42 years; Ex-Servicemen: up to 50 years; Destitute Widows: no upper age limit.

Special Provisions

• For SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBC/DCs, BC(OBCM)s, BCMs married to eligible SC/SC(A)/ST/MBC/DC/BC(OBCM)/BCMs: minimum 18 years, no upper age limit. PWBD, Ex-Servicemen, and Destitute Widows also have no upper age limit in these cases.
• As per Tamil Nadu government rules, Ex-Servicemen age relaxation applies only if already selected for any category or post.
• No upper age limit means the candidate should not have completed 60 years as of 01.07.2025, the notification date, or the appointment date.

Educational Qualifications

Candidates must possess ONE of the following qualifications as per 10+2+3/4 pattern:

• Graduate Degree in any discipline from a UGC-recognized university (2 posts); cooperative training and computer knowledge required.
• Bachelor of Engineering / Technology in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication, or equivalent (AICTE) from a recognized university (33 posts).
• Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a recognized university (2 posts).
• Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from a recognized university (9 posts).
• Bachelor of Engineering / Technology in Civil or Electrical from a recognized university (4 posts).

Cooperative Training Eligibility

Candidates must have completed any of the following courses to be eligible for Cooperative Training:

• Diploma in Cooperative Management (Tamil Nadu Cooperative Union)
• Higher Diploma in Cooperative Management (Chennai National Cooperative Union and Madurai Cooperative Union)
• Diploma in Rural Home Management (Cooperation) from Vaikundam National Cooperative Institute
• B.Com (Honours) Cooperation
• M.Com (Cooperation)
• M.A (Cooperation)
• Cooperative Studies diploma from a UGC-recognized university
• B.A (Cooperation)
• M.Com (Cooperation)

Note: Candidates who have studied Book Keeping, Banking, Cooperation, and Auditing subjects may be considered eligible for Cooperative Training.

Important Notes

Ex-Servicemen with a Bachelor’s degree may be eligible for posts requiring Any Bachelor's Degree but not for posts requiring B.E/B.Tech in CS/IT/ECE, Law, Commerce, or Civil/Electrical Engineering.

Application Fees

• SC, SC(A), ST, Destitute Widows, PWBD: Rs. 250
• BC (OBCM), BCM, MBC/DC & Others: Rs. 500

• The fee is payable online (Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card, or UPI) during online submission.
• Fee once paid is non-refundable under any circumstances.
• If the fee is not paid within the stipulated time, the application will be rejected.
