Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 18 years.
• For ST/SC/SCA/MBC & DNC/BCM/BC: No upper age limit.
• OC (General): 32 years.
• OC - Differently Abled: 42 years.
• OC - Ex-Servicemen: 48 years.
• There is effectively no maximum age beyond 60 years; applicants should not have completed 60 years as of the date of notification or at the time of appointment.

Educational Qualifications

• A pass in HSC with science subjects, namely Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology; or Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
• Must have passed a two-year Diploma in Dental Hygienist conducted in Government Medical Institutions under the control of the Director of Medical Education and Research (or in any other institution recognised by the State or Central Government).
• The candidate should be registered in the State Dental Council.
• Candidates with SSLC and a certificate course in Dental Hygienist who passed before the publication of the Dental Council of India Regulations, 2008 and registered as Dental Hygienist in the Tamil Nadu State Dental Council shall be eligible.

Selection Process

• Selection will be based on marks obtained in academic and technical qualifications, following reservation rules and other conditions specified in the notification.
• There will be no oral test (interview) for this post.
