Age Limits (as on 01-01-2025)

• Minimum age: 18 years
• Maximum age: 47 years for Physically Handicapped candidates and other relaxations as applicable. General category up to 37 years. Specific relaxations exist for SC/BC, Ex-Servicemen, EWS, and other categories as per Punjab government rules.

Educational Qualification

• Three-year Diploma in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering from a state technical education board or a government-recognized university or institution. Higher qualifications (degree in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical) from a recognized university are also eligible.

Essential Requirement

• Candidates must have passed the Matriculation examination with Punjabi as a compulsory or elective subject, or an equivalent examination in Punjabi, as per Punjab Civil Services Rules.

Desirable

• Higher qualification in the relevant engineering discipline.

Experience

• No specific experience is required as per the notification.

Certificate Validity

• Educational/technical qualification certificates must be issued before the last date of application (Advt 15: 21-01-2026; Advt 16: last date of application).
