OUAT Recruitment 2025: Offline 57 Assistant Professor/Equivalent Posts

Age limits

• Maximum age: 42 years as on the last date of submission of application.
• No upper age limit for regular OUAT employees.

Educational qualifications

• Minimum 2nd Class Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant subject with at least 55% marks (or equivalent OGPA) plus
• Master’s Degree in the concerned subject with at least 55% marks (or equivalent OGPA) and
• NET cleared, and Ph.D. in the concerned subject.

NET/Ph.D. requirements

• National Eligibility Test (NET) must be cleared.
• Ph.D. in the concerned subject with coursework as per UGC regulations.
• Candidates who cleared NET on or before 11-07-2009 shall be exempt from NET subject to conditions.

Relaxations

• A relaxation of 5% is provided from 55% to 50% at the Master’s level for SC/ST/PwD candidates.

Desirable

• Ph.D. in the concerned subject.

• Last Date to Apply: 20-12-2025 (05:00 PM)

Application fee

• ₹700 (Rupees Seven Hundred Only).
• Payment mode: Deposit in favor of Comptroller, OUAT, Bhubaneswar via Green Channel Counter, Internet Banking, or RTGS to the Comptroller, OUAT (A/C No. 10173711536, SBI, OUAT Campus Branch, Bhubaneswar, IFSC: SBIN0003341).
• Non-refundable fee.

Other instructions

• Separate application is required for each post.
• Attach all required documents, photographs, and fee deposit receipts.
• Send the completed application by Speed Post or Registered Post to The Registrar, OUAT, Bhubaneswar-751003, Odisha.
• Applications must reach on or before 20-12-2025 (05:00 PM).
• The envelope should clearly state: “Application for the post of Assistant Professor in ____”.
