Professor of Law

• An eminent scholar holding a Ph.D. Degree in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline.
• A minimum of ten years of teaching experience in a university/college as Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor, and/or research experience at an equivalent level at University/National Level Institutions, with evidence of successfully guiding a doctoral candidate.

Associate Professor of Law

• A good academic record with a Ph.D. Degree in the concerned/allied/relevant disciplines.
• A Master's Degree with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade.

Assistant Professor of Law

• A Master's degree with 55% marks or an equivalent grade in a concerned/relevant/allied subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.

Selection Process

Selection shall be based solely on performance in the interview. Candidates with degrees from National Law Universities or reputed foreign institutions, or those with teaching experience at National Law Universities, will be preferred. The fulfillment of these conditions must be certified by the Registrar or the Dean (Academic Affairs) of the concerned university. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. The University reserves the right to place reasonable limits on the total number of candidates to be called for an interview. Fulfillment of essential qualifications alone does not guarantee an interview call. Candidates possessing higher qualifications and exposure to the National Law University system will be given preference in short-listing.
