Lucknow University Recruitment 2025: 10 Research Investigator, Data Assistant and More Posts (Offline)

Age Limits

• Research Investigator (Regular & Contractual): 21-40 years as on the last date (relaxation as per UP state rules).
• Data Assistant: 18-40 years as on the last date (relaxation as per UP state rules).
• Research Fellow-1 & Research Fellow-2: 21-40 years as on the last date (relaxation as per UP state rules).

Eligibility by Post

Research Investigator (Regular & Contractual)

• At least a 2nd class Postgraduate degree in Demography/Population Studies/Statistics/Economics/Mathematics/Sociology/Social Work/Psychology/Anthropology/Geography, with knowledge of computer applications, and 3 years’ experience in data collection, analysis and report writing.

Data Assistant (Computer cum Tabulator)

• At least a 2nd class Graduate degree with Statistics/Economics/Mathematics and experience in data handling using statistical packages like SPSS/STATA/R/SAS.

Research Fellow-1

• At least a 2nd class Postgraduate degree in Demography/Population Studies/Statistics/Economics/Mathematics/Sociology/Public Health, with 4 years’ experience after post-graduation/PhD (relaxable in deserving cases).

Research Fellow-2

• At least a 2nd class Postgraduate degree in Demography/Population Studies/Statistics/Economics/Mathematics/Sociology with 1 year experience after post-graduation (relaxable in deserving cases).

• Last date for submission of application form (all posts): 30-12-2025

Application Fees

• Research Investigator (Regular, Advt. No. PRC/RI-R/25): Rs. 1,000 for General/OBC; Rs. 700 for SC/ST; no fee for Physically Challenged candidates.
• Contractual posts (Research Investigator contractual, Data Assistant, Research Fellow-1, Research Fellow-2): No application fee.

Important Instructions

• Only matriculation/SSC certificates will be accepted as proof of date of birth. Category certificates (SC/OBC/ST/EWS) must follow UP Government rules.
• Applications without requisite documents or applicable fee (where required) or received after the deadline will not be entertained.
• Any concealment or submission of false information will lead to disqualification at any stage.
• Corrigenda/updates will be available on the official University of Lucknow website and the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.
