Age Limit

• Maximum age: 50 years as on 01-01-2025 (government order references apply). In-service candidates must have upper age limits as per relevant government orders.

Educational Qualifications

• MD/MS/DNB/DM/M.Ch in the respective disciplines as specified for each specialty.

Essential Experience

• For medical candidates in general disciplines: minimum 3 years of teaching and research experience in a recognized institution after obtaining the qualifying degree (MD/MS or equivalent).
• For super-specialty disciplines: 1 year of teaching and research experience after obtaining DM/M.Ch (or 2 or 5 years for certain recognized courses as applicable) or qualification recognized as equivalent. Candidates with the 3-year DM/M.Ch qualification may be exempt from the experience requirement.

Desirable

• Publications: at least 2 publications in indexed journals (Medline, PubMed, Scopus, etc.).
• Publications should be in original papers, meta-analyses, systematic reviews, or case series.
