Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Materials Engineering, Polymer Engineering, Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, or any allied branches.
• Minimum two research publications in SCI-indexed journals with high impact in the relevant field.
• Demonstrated proficiency with material characterization tools (e.g., SEM, TEM, XRD, TGA, DSC, HPLC).

Essential qualifications

• Ph.D. in Materials Engineering, Polymer Engineering, Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, or allied fields.
• At least two SCI-indexed publications with high impact factor in Materials Engineering, Biomaterials, Polymer Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or Pharmaceutical sciences.
• First-author publications required; ability to demonstrate working capabilities with characterization tools as listed above.

Desirable experience

• Industrial experience with bio-composite materials, nanomaterial synthesis/characterization, pharmaceutical science/drug delivery.
• Experience in in vitro and in vivo biomedical testing.
• Strong track record in cutting-edge research, patents, high-impact publications, and industry-academia collaboration.

General Information/Instructions

• Candidates should be passionate about cutting-edge research with potential for high-impact publications.
• In addition to project-related research, the fellow may undertake other academic responsibilities such as mentoring students and participating in research discussions.
• The post-doctoral fellow will join the department as soon as the offer letter is released and will be registered as a student with access to library and computer facilities. Leave entitlement is 2.5 days per completed calendar month, with no carry-forward beyond a calendar year. PDF positions are temporary.
