Ph.D. (preferably in the areas of vulnerability, adaptation and/or climate change impacts in the water sector) with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree (preferably in disciplines like Environment and Natural Resource Management, Geography, Policy Studies, Development Studies or Economics)
The position requires the candidate to be highly familiar with the literature on climate adaptation, vulnerability and to engage in scholarly research and writing under the supervision of the project investigators. The candidate must have proven experience with high-quality research/scholarly writing and the ability to perform basic statistical analysis. Applicants are required to clearly indicate and attach proof of qualifications, relevant experience, and research/scholarly writing in the application.

A 5% relaxation of marks may be granted to SC/ST candidates. In the case of a retired or superannuated government employee, salary will be fixed as per applicable norms.
