Age Limit

Post-Wise Eligibility Criteria

• Primary Teacher (Grade I): 2-year Diploma in Education (DEd) or equivalent in accordance with the NCTE Regulations, or a Diploma in Special Education.
• Technical Superintendent: B.Tech. / B.E. or M.Sc. with one year of relevant experience after the degree. Alternatively, a Diploma in Civil Engineering with six years of relevant experience after the diploma.
• Assistant Registrar (Legal): Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) or Master's degree in Law (LLM) or equivalent from a recognized University.
• Assistant Registrar: Master's degree or equivalent from a recognized University/Institute in an appropriate discipline.
• Technical Officer (Scale-I): B.Tech. / B.E. or M.Tech. / M.E. in a relevant discipline.
• Assistant Registrar (Backlog vacancy): Master's degree or equivalent from a recognized University/Institute in an appropriate discipline.
• Jr. Trained Graduate Teacher (Hindi): Bachelor’s degree in Hindi from a recognized University with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate, and a B.Ed. or equivalent degree from a recognized University.

Selection Process

The selection process involves the following stages:

1. Scrutiny/Screening of Applications: Applications received will be scrutinized, and only shortlisted applicants will be called for further selection processes. Merely fulfilling the prescribed requirements does not guarantee an invitation to the selection process. The Institute may limit the number of applicants to be called for shortlisting based on qualifications and/or experience higher than the minimum prescribed.
2. Written Test: A written test will be conducted. A shortlist (a certain multiple of the number of advertised positions) will be drawn from the list of qualified candidates in order of merit.
3. Final Selection: The final selection will be based on the shortlist drawn from the written test only. To be eligible for recruitment, a candidate must obtain 60% marks or more (55% marks or more for SC and ST candidates) in the written test and skill test.
