Eligibility Details

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Science/Engineering/Mathematics/Statistics/Commerce/Information Technology or a three-year diploma in engineering and technology.

Essential qualifications

Minimum 60% marks in the qualifying degree for all categories.

Experience

Commerce category applicants require a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience (if applying for YP-I).

Additional Instructions

• Engagement is for four months initially (01 January 2026 to 30 April 2026), with possible extension up to two months or until project completion, whichever is earlier.
• This is not a regular appointment with ICAR.
• Working hours will be the same as regular ICAR employees. YPs are eligible for 08 days casual leave and 02 restricted holidays on a pro-rata basis.
• Maternity leave is provided as per the Maternity Benefit (Amendment) Act, 2017.
• No TA/DA will be paid for interview. TA/DA may be admissible for official domestic travel.
• Applicants must attach a recent passport-size photograph and self-attested copies of age, qualifications, experience, testimonials, and other credentials.
• Government employees must furnish a No Objection Certificate from their present employer.
