Educational Qualification

• B.Sc. (Science) graduate in a specified subject (ravidnyan shakhichi B.Sc.) from a recognized institution.
• Must have experience as a Laboratory Attendant in BMC establishments and must pass the departmental Trade Test.
• Mandatory computer qualification: DOEACC CCC/O Level/A Level/B Level/C Level, MS-CIT, GE.C.T., or another government-approved computer course.
• Marathi language proficiency: SSC or equivalent with Marathi knowledge; reading, writing, and speaking abilities required.

Experience

• Service as a Laboratory Attendant in the concerned BMC establishments according to the approved rules:
  • 1 year for B.Sc. Science degree holders, or
  • 2 years for others.
• Experience must be verifiable and certified by the concerned department head.

• The post is isolated with non-applicable Divyang reservation; Divyang candidates meeting the criteria may apply if otherwise eligible.

Other Instructions

• This recruitment is strictly departmental and limited to in-service BMC staff working as Laboratory Attendants in specified health establishments.
• Applications must be submitted in Marathi with the candidate’s own handwriting and routed through the concerned department/ward head and Service Record Officer.
• Attested documents to be attached include a Service Verification Form-B, inquiry certificates, confidential reports, caste and Caste Validity certificates where applicable, Non-Creamy Layer where applicable, pay slips, initial appointment order, Marathi language qualification proof, and computer qualification certificates.
• Original certificates must be produced at the time of document verification; failure to do so will render the candidate ineligible for the Trade Test and selection.
• Waiting list, if prepared, will be valid for 2 years; administration reserves the right to cancel the recruitment at any stage without reason.
